To
immortalize the Competition, the CIVC has called on the sculptor
Stéphane Guiran, «blacksmith-poet» who works
only with metal.

After founding his own company in Paris, he leaves the capital to
settle in Provence, where he was born, in November 2002; Very quickly,
he becomes known in the artistic circles and obtains the 4th Prize
for Sculpture in the Florence Biennale the following year.

For the creation of the Trophy, the artist wished to represent
the notion of transmission of knowledge from the master to the pupil,
the foundation of the work of trainers.

This unique sculpture, made of
brushed steel and nickel, represents the transmission of the knowledge
between the teacher and the pupil.
Two welded elements holding each other. One holds the other so that
he can take his flight. Together they compose a single harmonious
element resting on the foundations of knowledge.
