This is a unique competition in the wine world as it is only opened to teachers and trainers with a training activity involving Champagne, either within a public or private catering school, within a training centre or within a wine appreciation club. Any candidate to the European title must practise their activities within one of the eight countries open to the competition.

Through the Inter-professional Committee, the people in the Champagne trade want to honour the work of all those who train the future sommeliers but also those who work towards a better knowledge of Champagne wines in the eight European countries which are the main Champagne markets.

To take part in this competition, just fill the application file. You can also download it and send it back to the CIVC or one of its bureaus, depending on the country where you are.
