This is a unique
competition in the wine world as it is only opened to teachers and
trainers with a training activity involving Champagne, either within
a public or private catering school, within a training centre or
within a wine appreciation club. Any candidate to the European title
must practise their activities within one of the eight countries
open to the competition.

Inter-professional
Committee, the people in the Champagne
trade want to honour the work of all those who train the future
sommeliers but also those who work towards a better knowledge of
Champagne wines in the eight European countries which are the main
Champagne markets. |
